Keopi helps you find coffee, latte and tea drinks. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your account. When you sign in with Google, we get your email address and the basic profile Google shares (your name and profile photo). We use your email to run your account.
- What you save. Drinks in your passport, your ratings, and drinks Keo makes for you.
- Your settings. Your coffee maker and anything you ask Keopi to leave out, like nuts, dairy, gluten or caffeine. These choices can say something about your health, so we only use them to filter drinks for you.
- Usage counts. How many free features you used today, so the daily limits work.
- Anonymous feature counts. When anyone uses a feature, like finishing the quiz or opening a recipe, we record which feature and when. That's all: no name, email, device ID or cookie, so it can't be linked to you. It tells us what people actually use.
- Founding member list. If you join, we save your email and the plan you picked.
- What you type into Ask Keo. Your request is sent to our AI provider to create your recipe. Please don't type personal information into it.
If you use Keopi without signing in, your settings and daily counts stay in your own browser and never reach us. Only the anonymous feature counts above are sent.
How we use it
To run Keopi, save your passport across devices, apply your settings, keep the free limits fair, and email you about your account and Keopi Plus. You can unsubscribe from non-account emails at any time.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who helps us run Keopi
- Supabase stores accounts and saved data.
- Netlify hosts the site and passes AI requests to the model provider.
- Anthropic provides the AI that writes Keo's recipes and orders. It receives the text of your request and the settings needed to make it.
- Google handles sign-in when you choose "Continue with Google."
- Stripe handles Keopi Plus payments. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep your subscription status and plan so Plus works on your account.
Your choices
You can change your settings, remove saved drinks or sign out at any time in the app. To delete your account and everything tied to it, email us at the address below and we'll take care of it.
Kids
Keopi isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and let signed-in users know.
